Support Services
With support from Mental Health First Aid England, our friends over at Blue Zoo have put together a list of contacts for mental health help and support in an emergency in the UK. The list includes a variety of phone numbers, messaging helplines and links to online resources from trusted organisations including Mind Infonline and Every Mind Matters.
Blue Zoo also has an Employee Assistance Programme, which is a confidential 24 hour support helpline to support you through whatever you’re going through, no matter how big or small. 2 reset days a year are also available to all staff members to support their mental health.
Looking after our mental health is hugely important to us at Brighton Zoo, so please reach out to someone you trust if you’re in need. If you’re looking for a place to start, you can also access the Hub of Hope to find specific support near you.
