POTATO…LAUNCH!

After over a year of production, Supertato officially launched on the 17th of October 2022 on the CBeebies channel and website. 

To mark the occasion, we held a launch party at our studio in New England House - as well as celebrating the launch of the series, it was a great opportunity to also invite people to experience the new Brighton studio for the first time. At the event, we had a live screening showcasing 3 of the new episodes. We were lucky enough to be joined by Supertato writers, Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet, who offered a few words after the episodes were shown. The screening was then followed by food and drinks, which were of course potato themed! Big thank you to Nourish and Catering events for providing us with our very own potato van, the baked potatoes went down a treat!

The evening was a fantastic way to mark new beginnings here at Brighton Zoo - a new studio space, a new production company and its first new animated TV production.  We’re so proud of this project and have been so excited to see it becoming such a hit with the audience.
